We have to petition the creators of the series to make a freakin' movie... It would be so righteous... So completely righteous... I would buy the god-damned DVD.
On a completely different note, I am now singing the Katamari Damacy Theme song. Thank you very much.

This one left me wanting more. I spent over 250 "days" racking up the 500,000 necessary to grab the castle, and then I finished, because there's nothing better and no new furniture. That's fine... But then it labeled me a "girl scout" because I only had 9,000 in the bank by that point? Excuse me? Your "net worth" is also the amount of property you own, not just how much you have on hand and in the bank. The loan cap at one thousand "dollars" makes it completely useless if you've got any of the good jobs... (The max job gives $100 an hour, which is grossly underpaying in my opinion) Having absolutely no way to increase how much you can do in a day past the "caffeine pills" that give you a meager bonus, you have to sit there and bore through an incredibly boring job system. The dark side of things just kept "killing" me, stealing a day's pay in most cases, and I would usually end up spending five days in prison whenever I decided to try to rob a place. And when I did manage to rob the bank, I got a pittance! $300 from a bank?? I know I've got over $30,000 in there personally!! This had all the boring qualities of a bad Date Sim without any of the Hentai. I vote 1/5, 3/10.

My only regret is that it wasn't long enough... Other than that, I think this one was better than House of 1000 Cats. Its animation was definitely more canon to how the characters are supposed to look and move.

Now I want to learn the "Numa Numa" and bust that in a club. Stay out of the club.

There should be two! I want to see this guy do the "Touch my Tra La La" song... I pictured it for about five seconds, and almost fell out of my chair laughing. It would be epic. But, that's just my opinion.

I would like to see this re-done. They are very interesting, with a unique story, but they aren't very well done, to be honest. The stylized look of the second and third loading screens would do well as the style for the entire thing, it would probably make it quite easier to animate and would definitely look better over all. The subtitles of the third one would have been very helpful to have in the rest of them, that was a real plus for that one in specific. And, if you need voice actors, you can ask people on here, on the Portal, for help. Some of us would be glad to help you, I'm sure. The music is excellent, even better if (as you say) It's all original. In all, I gave it a four (as a review) and a 2 (score). But that's only in its current form.

We must all, at one point or another, bow our heads to the greatness that is Madness. What's the maximum score? Give this one two points better. Every time.

I liked it. The first thing I noticed is the change to a more circular, organic look. That was a good thing. The animation style reminded me very much of Flow. Then, the ability to hit the 'bricks' with your 'paddle' was amazing at first. That kind of thing is new, powerful! I mean, sure, with Jardinians there were the elves you could hit around, but every single brick? At the same time? It blew my mind. Of course, playing any game in the 'breakout' genre without the game being in full screen is a challenge in its own right, if you're playing with the mouse. I didn't get far enough into the game to get to many of the upgrades, the power ups, however. I died long before then. The transfer of momentum, the level of physics involved with this game made me unable to predict where the ball is supposed to go. That wasn't fun. Then, mixing up the ball for some of the faster moving bricks, and dying. (A good fix for that would be to make the ball a different color than the bricks) And suddenly realizing that when my paddle hit the wall, it ricoshets... That wasn't good. If you don't change that, you should at least warn people about that. The thing I'm wondering about had to do with the ability, necessity, to push your paddle forwards to give your ball any momentum. It should be the speed of the paddle, not the positioning of it! Anyways. That game rocked, I hope you make more soon.

I'd never heard of this before today. But, being August sixth, (Relive your Childhood day among my friends) We were talking about Pokemon whilst playing Pokemon Stadium on the N64. Naturally, the conversation went from the strongest (Mewtwo) to the weakest (Magicarp, Metapod, and Kakunna tying in our eyes) So when one of my friends popped up with the age old line "What the fuck do you mean, you don't have hyper beam? Just use a splash attack." I nearly wet myself laughing. After they humbly pointed me back to this movie, and a bit of searching the archives, I found it. This should be a legend. This should be Flash Portal History. This is the best sprite flash I've ever seen. Thank you for enriching my life.

"An awesome game, in its entirety, but..."
I did, however, see a few problems with it. Thus, the nine. First, it was slightly off in the rhythm. You could be following along to the music, and only get a
decent' score instead of the perfect score that it should have been. Being a long-time player of both DDR and Guitar Hero, I am not just passing off a low level of skill, you must understand. Secondly, there was a major shortage of songs. An increase by even a few, one or two, would've helped the re-play value of the game a lot. As it stands, it is a great game. A few tweaks and it could be the next excellent addition to the professional games on the market.
